3-Step Process

3-Step Process

Iowa College Aid provides three uniquely different opportunities for Iowa high schools to promote postsecondary education and build a college-going culture within their schools. The importance of some type of education beyond high school has become widely evident in recent years, whether at a university, community college or trade school. Studies show that as educational attainment increases, income increases and the percent of population living in poverty decreases. Not to mention that those with some type of postsecondary degree are more likely to have health insurance coverage, vote and volunteer in their communities.

Build a College-Going Culture

Students who attend high schools with a strong college climate are more likely to take the steps toward college enrollment. Iowa College Aid's 3-Step Process is available for Iowa high schools to help build a college-going culture that will encourage students to plan for and become excited about their futures.

Registration for the 2017-18 3-Step Process will open in March, 2017!
